Requirements
- A master's degree in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field from an accredited university.
- Completion of 270 hours of approved coursework, including:
- 20 hours in ethics.
- 20 hours in autism core knowledge.
- 20 hours in supervision.
- A total of 1,500 hours supervised fieldwork comprising:
- A minimum of 900 indirect hours (e.g., functional behavior assessments, data review, staff or parent training).
- A maximum of 600 direct hours.
- Additional Requirements:
- A recommendation from a qualified supervisor.
- A completed Background Check Attestation Form.
- Successful completion of the QBA examination.
- Agreement to adhere to the QABA® Code of Ethics and ongoing professional development.
